Welcome to my profile! like making music and I do enjoy checking out the submissions on NG on a regular basis - especially in the Audio Portal. I'm A big fan of the early 90's PD scene and I like seeing what ideas people use in Flash!

Would anybody like any of their tracks remixing?
Posted by danniekavanagh Sep. 12, 2008 @ 5:40 AM EDTI'm getting into this whole remixing malarky quite a bit now, and although I have plenty of bits to play around with at home, I often find that having some other material handy can give me a little more inspiration to do something new.
If any of you guys out there have something that you're a little stuck with, I'll be more than happy to have a bash at doing something with it, so simply send me a message and I'll see what I can do!

As you can probably see by my profile submissions, I mainly contribute to Newgrounds via the audio portal simply because my flash skills are not very good to say the least...
Well anyway, what I'm looking for is someone to help me with some animated ideas to go with my vocal club mixes that feature on here. The benefit of this would be that when I play these tracks in the various bars and clubs where I work on a weekend, your animation will also be played on the video screens as a lot of the club I work at have the Pioneer DVDJs installed...
The final videos will also go on YouTube, and I'd rather have something on the screen instead of a black square which is what currently resides in my YouTube submissions at the moment.
Naturally, you will be fully credited both in the videos and its accomodating description.
This offer is open to both collaborated entries and a single artist.
I look forward to receiving your replies - offer open until Jan 2009.

Well, for me, I'm up to my neck in boxes, tape and plastic bags as I'm moving to a new house at the weekend!!
Kids eh? - no-one tells you that you need more room for these things, but hey - it's all part of the learning process eh?
Oh well, hopefully I'll be back in the next couple of weeks with some new audio submissions as soon as I get everything wired together again!!
As for the kids, I'm still wondering if it's right or wrong to keep them in the garage?.. Oh well, only one way to find out...
Seeeeeeeya Soon

Well, it's been a while since I last posted anything so I guess I might as well fill in a bit of spare time while the kids are asleep!.
Since my last post, I've managed to start organising my small home studio a bit more (as you'll probably see by my profile pic!) - there's just a few more additional touches to cut the size of the studio down and then I can finally feel settled into the creative environment I guess!
I've recently descovered Propellerheads Reason too, wow what a great program for making music! - no more awful samples and dodgy out of key sounds, so all I need to do now is go through all the tutorials one by one, and eventually I'll hopefully get the hang of it.
If you'd like to check out one of my first Reason tracks, then have a listen to 'Feel' or 'All That Jazz' which were done entirely in Reason.
Well, thats it for me for the time being - I've stuck some more older tracks up too as I found them whilst doing a spot of cleaning up on my PC at home, so I hope you enjoy them too.
Till later - seeeeeeeya!

Finally after about 3 weeks of scratching about my mailbopx - the cable has finally arrived...
I can now begin my quest of taking the musical world by storm, so with trust Korg in hand and MIDI cable/Laptop in the other, my next few submissions should be on Newgrounds in the next couple of months...

CHINA!!! - No wonder the mailman is taking his time??
See - even geniuses mess up from time to time!

Posted by danniekavanagh Feb. 11, 2008 @ 7:11 PM ESTI've been trying for soooo long to start my real aim in life, which is to produce and make my own music. I have my ideal instrument for the job, namely my trusty Korg Triton, I have my preferred software - Reason 4.0, Cubase and Adobe Audition with just a dash of Sony ACID Pro..
My laptop is powerful enough to cope with all the abuse I can throw at it..
All I need now is my MIDI to USB cable that was paid for 3 days ago and is still in the depths of what we mortals call 'Lost in the mail'
Oh well, I guess my plan of world musical domination can wait another 72 or so hours eh?
Updated: 02/11/08 7:12 PM 1 comment | Log in to comment! | Share this!Well, I thought it was about time I submitted something to Newgrounds, seeing as though I've been a member for over 2 years now... So this afternoon I added my first Audio Submission in the AP.
The track is eventually going to be a house track with vocals etc, but I thought it would be a good idea to get a few responses from NG first, see what ideas our regulars may have to help with the tracks development.
As it's my first submission, obviously I have to wait for approval from the admins, but once the track's up, I'll add the link here in this post!
Seeeeeya for now!
